"I would go behind the puppet show screen and sing duets with Creator Burrti Lstrom who sang as Kukla, and I sang as Ollie, the one - toothed Dragon. Oh, there were some magnificent goofs back then when TV was live and oh so very young. We were on TV before Milton Berle and Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis."

Dancing with the Exotics (Or, "The Ups and Downs of Lap Karaoke"): A holiday was exactly what I needed in order re-invigorate my ardor and re-charge my mental battery---- well, let me tell you that during this past month I realized my goal---accomplished by exercising my recreational options in visiting a new "K" venue up in San Francisco.

Just Who Is Bud Young? (Or, I Thought You'd Never Ask): In a few words, I am the ultimate "Been there - done that" man. It began in grade school when, one day, I was a soprano singing Christmas carols in the hall, then poof, puberty hit me in the middle of "Silent Night," and I became a baritone.

Bud Young has contributed to the "K" (karaoke) medium by competing in contests which he won (8 or 9), and in contest which he lost (80 or 90)--was a KJ. for 3 1/2 years, and has written for several "K" publications including San Diego Scene.

His career spans Television, Night Clubs, Big Bands, and Senior Citizens Nude Amatuer Hours. His hobbies are guns, guitar, and girls. Bud is what is known as a "Consumate Lover"--he loves all "Consumates" be they blond, brunette, redhead, auburn or salt-and-pepper.

There is not one resentful bone in his body--except when it comes to criticism--and then he goes BERSERK!!

But even as berserk as he may become, we know of no other personality with his charm, wit, courtesies and consideration.

Can you imagine what he'd be saying if he was writing this himself -- he'd be UNBEARABLE!
