Showcase Spotlight on Summer

What a show! It was standing room only!

Summer was dressed in a real cute style wearing a flowered fitted shirt with long sleeves gathered at the neck, a jean skirt and boots. It was the perfect outfit perfect for her country songs.

She started her show with "Why haven't I heard from you." She sure got their attention right away! Some of her next songs were, "There is no Arizona", "Ashes by Now", and "Something to Talk About". The crowd got a kick out of that last one as she was pointing to a few of her friends during the number. It made people wonder what is she talking about but it was all in good fun.

Summer then took a little break to change to a gorgeous spaghetti strap black dress. We heard some ohs and ahs as she reentered the room.  She smiled and took a deep breath and started to sing "Without You" from Dixie Chicks.  It's amazing how young she looks and to see how she's able to express those emotion in her voice and her moves. She is so smooth, but still a strong singer.

"Piece of My Heart" followed that song.  The guys were saying "Oh yes!" and cheering on. Summer also did sing her signature song "Strawberry Wine" later on as promised to the delight of her crowd. The evening is not complete until she sings that one.

That young lady received three encores! What does that tell you? It was a showcase to remember; very special! Thank you, Summer.
